Literally the worst. I ordered a washer online that said "order for next day delivery". Perfect! Placed the order, they call me an hour later saying that they're backed up and can't deliver until 5 days later. Fine, whatever I can wait a couple days, but can they get there before noon because I have work. Sure no problem! Well here we are 5 days later at 1pm and still no washer in sight. So I call to see how much longer it'll be because like I told them, I have work. Customer service guy on the 800 line was nice enough, offered to call the local branch and check the status. He comes back on the line, says that the store has notes in the account that they called and spoke with me directly about not being able to deliver it today and scheduled for another week out. They never called me let alone spoke with me. The number that they had was my direct cell phone so no chance they spoke with a family member or my husband. They just flat out lied. So, I tell them to cancel the order at this point. I'm not missing yet another day of work for these idiots. Then he says they're "having problems" canceling the order. After almost half an hour on the phone he says he got it canceled so we'll see if I get the money back.

If you have time to waste go to this Lowes. Horrible customer service. Waited in the Appliance section for over 30 minutes and there was "no one who worked in that area available". The time I stood there waiting for an associate, I was able to make a phone call to the Lowes in La Plata. I waited so long that the La Plata Lowes associate was able to take my call, put me on hold to check if the item was in stock in the store, and offered to have the item waiting for me by the time I left Waldorf. I needed to purchase a refrigerator. All I needed was to place the order. The Customer Service area told me they were unable to help me make a purchase because they needed to have it approved by the Appliance area. The time I stood there waiting I saw at least 4 other people who needed help to purchase an Appliance and there was no one available. This is not the first time this has happened at this Lowes. They have horrible customer service with employees who act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. I now only shop at the La Plata Lowes.

Went to pick up a punchdown tool. Shopped at two separate stores. Neither store had it. Home depot did. So, I took the tool back to Lowe's to see if they would consider selling a similar tool. I was told only corporate can order tools...really???? Not the store manager? Wouldn't even consider looking at the tool I bought from next door.

Always love shopping at Lowe's, although Home Depot has cheaper prices and more items for clearance, Lowe's is always well stocked clean and organized.

Employees just stand around at the customer service desk. Long waits to make a simple return, observed customers leaving the store .‼️‼️🤦‍♂️Poor customer service
