I waited 10 minutes at loading area and they said someone would be right out while I was checking out..After waiting 10 minutes I started loading myself, a man standing there waiting also told me he could tell I was having a hard time....I had back surgery a month ago so I shouldn't be loading any of this to start with...after he finished loading I told him thank you and how much I appreciated him,then then Lowe's guys came out...I told them they should give the man that loaded my truck and did thier work..that they should give him some free cinder blocks..they just looked at me dumbfounded..no questions..or sorry we kept u waiting...the reason we had to wait is because they were restocking in lumber..I could see them from the parking lot...guess the customer doesn't come first at this Lowe's...also had one employee inside that walked past me while I was standing in line that never spoke to me but did every time he went by to the guy standing behind me...this employee was maybe 3 feet from me...and he wouldn't even make eye contact...I would much rather go to this Lowe's since it's only 4 miles from my house..but honestly I go to Home Depot for most of what I need even with the extra drive to Bristol...it's worth it since they have courteous associates and knowledgeable ones as well....it's a shame to have a store this nice...and so many rude employees..and the rude ones seem to be higher in numbers in the lumber department

On Saturday, August 12, I was working on projects around the house. During the day I made three visits to Lowe's on Falcon Drive, in Abingdon, VA. Each time I visited the store there was an average number of customers in the store for a Saturday. It seemed like there was an unusual number of automated Request for service throughout the store which seemed to continue at length. Check out times were extensive. Self service check out was not turned on, or possibly broken. Two cashier's could not keep up. Twice I ended up going to garden center to check out. "Code 3", calls on the PA system seemed to go unanswered...

All of the employees we passed all if we needed help and when we needed help the employee Jade was very helpful and got us fixed right up. Best Lowe's I've been to

Good granted Saturdays you have to hunt up a lumber or flat cart but that's normal

Michael was new to millwork dept. but got help when he needed to. I think he will be a great salesman with a little more time, the effort is there.
