Ray from the buckhannon Lowes is the BEST worker there. That man deserves a raise and employee of the month (if not year). After spending hours of walking around trying to get help (with all the other workers having no clue about anything) Ray comes along and understood precisely what we were saying and took us straight to the multiple items we would need to get the job done. I honestly cannot applaud him enough. On top of knowing everything we needed he was very kind and courteous, had a great sense of humor and was all around the most pleasant person there. If you ever need help (no matter the department) LOOK FOR RAY! I'm telling you people, you will not regret it.

Friendly and helpful staff helped me find what I was looking for quickly. Probably one of the better Lowe's I've been to.

I highly recommend that you shop elsewhere. Support your local building supply companies that know how to treat customers instead. Lowe's has grown to the point where, like many large corporations, they no longer care about their customers. Almost every item (we're talking somewhat substantial, not a $10 screw driver) has come along with its share of baggage and problems. From damaged special order items to cashiers incorrectly scanning items in my cart and then refusing to accept an exchange or refund because it wasn't on my receipt, to associates flat out lying, I've just about experienced it all here. So I'll speak with my wallet and shop elsewhere from now on. And if the review of my experience here pursuades at least 10 other people to also shop elsewhere, we can make a difference and let them know it's not acceptable to treat customers like garbage and really hit them where it hurts - the bottom line!
