Staff seem far more interested in talking with each other than they are in assisting customers. I have had several good staff interactions on occasion there, but these are unfortunately few and far between.

Worst experience still waiting on fridge that I order back on Sept 7, 2017.  Got a call saying it will be delivered today from there deliver waiting around ALL Day. Call the deliver  three times and being put on on hold for a half hour each time tell me they are running late and he should be there in about 30 -45 minutes.  I finally called lowes for help and they tell me they don't how there delivering company got my phone numer to deliver  the fridge because it hasn't even come in yet. I order something in advance and still can't get.  And they really don't  care just giving lipservice how sorry they are it does me no good.  Took my food out in anticipating to get something and the delivery company is lying to you as well.  I wasted a whole day waiting not to mention some of my food going bad.   And all I get is sorry.  Most people have to work I know I have to you make arrangement to be there for a delivery company and Lowes and this delivery company srew up and they excepting to be happy and wait around another day for a deliver.  Run as fast as you can because the deliver and overall service at this Lowes is terrible and so is the attitude of the manager.

Its actually hard for you to give them your money. Very hard to check out.  Went there at 8:00 pm Aug. 30th.  I Find my items, brought them to the up front registers.   All closed except for self check out.  Trouble is,  you check out yourself and something always goes arwy and the robot guiding you through the check out will not let you proceed. Then, the brain dead clerk watching the self checkout has not a clue that your stuck in limbo.  She totaly ignores or just is 'brain dead' and is oblivious to the robot saying 'error, error', etc.  This has happened to me twice in my last three visits.  I cant stand this place.

I love Lowes. I would much rather shop at Lowe's then Home Depot. That being said this particular Lowe's is horrible. The staff is generally wonderful. But the store itself stinks. It is a much smaller Lowe's than most, it is generally understaffed and no registers open but self-checkout. The minute you walk through the front door you lose all cell phone service, you can't even get a text message. I really hope the corporate people read these reviews and make some adjustments because Torrington Lowe's Home Improvement needs some serious Improvement.

I found the staff quite eager to help. The selection and price seemed reasonable. They had what I needed and not just singularly in kit form too.
