The Lower Cape May Regional High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Lower Township, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Lower Cape May Regional School District. LCMRHS serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from four communities in Cape May County as part of the Lower Cape May Regional School District, which includes Lower Township, Cape May, West Cape May, and Cape May Point; students from Cape May Point attend the district as part of a sending/receiving relationship. As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 905 students and 87.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1. There were 339 students (37.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 93 (10.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. In 2013, the district received a proposal that had been prepared for the Cape May City Council that addressed concerns that the city's property tax base meant that it was paying a disproportionate share of the district's tax levy. Cape May raised possible means in which the imbalance could be addressed.
