Story

Lucas County Department of Job & Family Services (LCDJFS) provides services such as temporary cash assistance, food stamps, and medicaid, subsidized child care, adult protection, disability assistance and prevention, retention and contingency services. The Division of Child Support establishes parentage, enforces support orders, and collects and disburses child support in order to ensure that families receive the financial support to which they are entitled.

I went in on a Thursday afternoon mind you, to the Document center. Of course it was rather busy as it has been in the past. I have not had to go in for anything in a long time. It was time to turn in papers to renew for my case for medical , as normal. They have a completely different set up. You now have to take a number and wait. So by looking at my number I really thought i would be there for at least an hour or more! Yet by surprise I was called upon only 15 minutes later!! Great Job To The Staff!!!

Thank you for not sending my mail and faxes over this past month after you repeatedly told me you were. Oh and thanks for answering my call promptly just to put me on hold and never pick up again. You guy are lucky so need this damn document to get settled in CO. Can't wait to be done with you.

I have called 3 times to find out why my insurance is still pending... only for there system to go down the first time 10 minutes prior to them answering the phone so pretty much while I was waiting on hold for 45 minutes... the second time two weeks later I waited 1 hour 45 minutes no answer and it was during open business hours.... and today still on hold as I write this so far for 1 hour 4 minutes..... someone pick up the dang phone.... it's been since March 1st since I applied...

You can never get anyone to answer the phones and when you go in the the actual building there is absolutely no customer service. Its horrible.

just called 4:12 pm said closed but web site say 4:30 pm  whats up with this can they call us know I bet say anyone know if they got a FAX number
