People are nice and animals are sweet, but the place smells. It is kind of understandable, considering there are a bunch of animals.

They do the best they can. God bless this little group. People PLEASE donate money, adopt and take these pets home! She takes animals from 3 different countries with no outside support. God bless Dixie Adoptables

In search of a kitten for my mother, I found one here.  I called, set up an appointment and they were very professional, nice and caring.  We met kitty, fell in love and made arrangements to get him.  The entire experience was great!  The facility was clean and the animals were handled with compassion.

This is a No Kill adoption center.  It may look overcrowded but that's because so many people abandon their pets.  If you want to add to your family,  come here first.

This place is awful. They came and took my dog off of the chain he was on (and was only on because I left home for 30 minutes) and now they have him locked in a cage covered in his own urine and feces with very little food and water. The man that runs this shelter does not care for animals he cares about his paycheck.
