Ive been coming to lucky inn wok for 35+ years. Our old neighbors growing up introduced me and my parents to lucky inn. I used to skip school and eat lunch here when I was in high school. I still try to eat here once a week when I can. I have NEVER had an even less than great meal here. It's always perfection! Always delicious. I will ALWAYS love lucky inn wok, period! To me, there is no other Chinese restaurant that even comes close.
This place truly deserves the five stars.... This place has such great food. It is truly the quality and the quantity. They have this very special dark sauce that is so good it'll knock your socks off. They have scorpion bowls that are amazing. Boneless spare ribs in the chicken wings are so good they're mouth watering. A different style of fried rice that tastes super fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone. They've been open for years and that been great for years.
We have found this place about 2 years ago and won’t go anywhere else! We started out apprehensive due to some reviews about the quality of service. We have never had an issue and everyone has been lovely. Their boneless spare ribs, general Taos, and crab rangoons are our go tos but they also have Phenomenal sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli and egg drop soup. Honestly I could list a ton more because we haven’t had anything bad there ever! So glad we found this place!
Ordered for my family and the food was absolutely nasty! When I tried to say if I could get a replacement they said no and if I didn’t wanna pay for the food that it was fine. Not going back everFood: 1/5
Lady at counter was kind of rude, which is unfortunate because the food was pretty good. The prices were a little high but not bad. I did not understand the $3 up charge for plain fried rice instead of pork fried rice. Dining area looked nice but was completely empty. Might be because of the negative energy from the lady. Just saying. Dietary restrictions: You will pay more if you want plain or vegetable fried rice instead of pork.
Ok so if you are a fan of Chinese food this place has a flavor that I haven't experienced at most other local Chinese restaurants. My go to meal is the chicken finger and spare ribs combo. This dish is half and half and comes with there unique fried rice. Let me tell you the spare ribs are amazing with an almost caramelized texture and sweetness, they hit the spot every time the chicken fingers are just that chicken fingers but they come with this plum dipping sauce that I’ve only found at this restaurant that is so unique and flavorful. It’s almost a must on everything it’s a sweet tangy flavor, but boy does it compliment those chicken fingers. Now the restaurant itself is pretty rundown. I wouldn’t recommend dining in if you’re looking for a fancy establishment, and if you’re eating in the winter, I would say bring a jacket. Customer service the lady at the register is often impatient, and will charge you even if you are allergic to something and she hast to remove it from the dish which I didn’t understand so don’t come here looking for great service, but the food is still good for Chinese food. I would say they have the best-tasting Chinese food in the area.
By far the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Their pork fried rice is the best I’ve ever had.Food: 5/5
Food is pretty good! The crab rangoon are light and crispy, and the lo mein has delicious little mushrooms. Seems to be more of a takeout spot which is odd because the dining room is pretty nice.Food: 4/5
Honestly the best Chinese food in the area. If anyone is craving “Boston” style Chinese food, this is your place for most items. The most comparable we’ve found to Boston in CT. The boneless spare ribs are different than any boneless spare ribs you’ve ever had, but are out of this world. Definitely get those and the egg rolls if you go!
If you want Chinese you need to eat here! You want take out? 10 second phone call, 20 minute wait and heaven in a bag. If you have time you have to go inside once. The inside is atmospheric. There most expensive meal is like 12 bucks and it is worth the title "meal". The portions are massive and I guarantee you'll have leftovers and when you microwave it, it'll taste just like when you got it
