Food was good, we order combo meal for 3 person whoever 5 people can easily eat it. Chicken pakora were not very good, however i liked the soup. The restaurant was very very clean, around 50-60 people sitting area. Not very crowded, we went on a week day for dinner. The server lady was okay, they serve food quite fast. Ordered tea, but they were out. Overall experience is good, and I recommend this place for moderate price and good food.
Got food for takeout, plenty of options you can choose from. Wait time was like 15 minutes but the food was fresh. Overall quick service and great tasting food, I recommend the honey garlic chicken, and chicken pakora.Food: 5/5
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and the staff and owners are also extremely friendly. They were great at offering recommendations for new customers and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The owner took the time to offer suggestions as I just couldn't decide on what dishes to order, and explained what's in each dish so I knew what my options were. Menu is extensive which is great because I like variety and options based on what I'm craving, food is really good, full of flavour and just the right amount of spice, especially the chilli chicken! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to enjoy some quality Hakka food. Definitely one of the best Hakka restaurants I've been to and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Parking: Plenty of parking available throughout the plaza, easy to walk to.
Luck Chinese restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Scarborough. I know there are some 1 star reviews but I disagree. We ordered the Chinese Cantonese chow mein and the Veggie chow mien. It had some amazing fried noodles with tangy sauce. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and tender. I wanted to point out the quantity and quality were perfect for the price. They did not cheat their customers by making them pay extra and getting less food. I ordered the Manchurian Tofu and Noodles. The only thing about this is that they were spicy. If you have a low spice tolerance then please avoid the manchurian side of the menu. This restaurant is great in general, the staff are very kind and the restaurant is well maintained. They make their food very quick. The food was made under 10 minutes. 5 star - If you ever find time, please try this restaurant out. Vegetarian options: One thing I like about this restaurant is that it has vegetarian options. If you would like a chow-mien then you can get meat or veggie. They have mostly everything in vegetarian.
Food is Lucky, but Customer Service is unlucky and poor! The restaurant name food speaks for itself, meaning the food is excellent, but the Customer Service is unlucky and poor. I've called to place an order over the phone for honey chicken wing, honey chicken and steam rice, and the lady was sounding impatient and angry when I was asking her questions about my order, she even hang up and didn't tell me how long it will take. So, I called her back to ask her how long will my order take for me to pick up in person? Asked her about the methods of payment, then she said I'm giving her staff she said I'm giving her staff a heart attack as wella hard time, spoke wicked words to me over the phone, she mentioned she is cancelling my order because I'm probably prank calling her. I told her ma'am I 'm a customer, I'm not prank calling you, i'm simply honestly asking your a question about my order. Then she hanged up with no apology, which was quite rude of her. Overall, I love their food, but they need to polish up on their Customer Service, as they've no patience to handle customers inquiries.
Can never go wrong with Lucky Chinese Hakka. Prices have gone a bit up but it's still affordable compared to other similar Hakka restaurants. The rice and Chilli Chicken I had was delicious. Fish with mixed vegetables was also great.
This place used to be good but lately the food, the staff, the wait times, and the owner himself has gotten worse. Im writing this review, not just one or two but after many disappointments at this restaurant. There's no consistency at all. They've tried to serve us with uncooked raw spices, burnt, and cold food. When you try to complain about the food, the staff and owner now gives you attitude and doesn't care about their customer satisfaction anymore. This is probably the reason why one of their site is now take out only and discontinued dine in. They're happy with take outs because then customers cannot complain and return back the garbage they've just served you. Please avoid this restaurant.
It’s a Hakka Chinese restaurant with extremely generous serving sizes and scrumptious food, loved the dishes, the spicy ones really hit the spot
Been doing lunch takeout from here for a while approx. 5 years and always satisfied with the food and service. We order ahead of time and the food is ready when we go pick it up 30 minutes or so later. Their Hakka Chow Mein has ruined the dish for me from anywhere else. Love it.Food: 5/5
