These dumplings are YUMMY! So much flavor wow! Delish
Some stuff is good like the cheese Rangoon, and egg rolls are alright. I’ve tried the general Tso chicken and I’m not a fan. Tonight for the first time I tried their chicken lo mein and it’s going straight in the trash. It doesn’t taste good or even edible, to be completely honest. It smells very unappetizing and it has a rubbery texture to the chicken. I’m not sure if it’s the recipe or what it is, but it’s just disgusting to be honest. I only like their cheese rangoons, and I gave them two stars for that and the fact that their egg rolls are decent. I’m not sure how they have high reviews. I’ve tried to like them, it’s really hard to get good Chinese food in RVC, but TRUST ME you’re better off going out of town for food takeout for Chinese. I’ll be sticking to Chen’s kitchen in Williston park…
I spent $14 just now and this is like someone feeding a baby. I ordered baby fried shrimp & fries… i asked for hot sauce and ketchup on fries, the lady put siracha sauce…. I ate 2 shrimp and some fries and i instantly gagged… ii felt sick instantly… i was starving, im so mad. WHAT IS THIS? Please yall dont EVER Go here
Food was gross and definitely not fresh at all. Ordered on a thursday night took almost an hour and half for delivery. Very expensive and didn’t get that much food. I got food poisoning from the food and was stuck at home sick for 3 days. I couldn’t eat anything!!! Definitely would never order from this place again! Used to be my go-to but never again.
we were very happy with this place when it opened years ago... they offered wide crispy noodles and did a good job on the food we bought from them. We found soon though that two of our favorite dishes began to suffer from the same problem :the noodles in the dish were too doughy! This included the wontons in the soup and the noodles in chow fun. It's not easy to park, and there are competitors nearby who do a better job and are more convenient.
Cash only if under $20 but they don't tell you over the phone. Ordered chicken teriyaki dinner combo because most Chinese places serve teriyaki even though it's a Japanese condiment. I got white meat chicken which I was happy about but in some kind of red sauce with large chunks of vegetables. RVC is lacking good Chinese takeout.
Excellent Chinese food. We always order from here. Love that they actual read anytime we put a special instruction or request. Food never disappoints. Their pork buns are delicious.
I'll admit, I was skeptical of Lucky Star at first, but it was a good choice. I ordered the Cashew beef, and it was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were respectful. All dishes were reasonably priced and well worth the cost.
Went there on a Monday, ordered lunch special for $7.50 and got bamboozled. Man that lady is devious, charged me $8.50 and wasn’t going to give me the soup, egg roll or soda that’s included. Later that day I grabbed change out of my pocket and noticed a quarter and a nickel. Really? I paid her $10, lady you owed me $1.50 not $1.30. The wings were bland with mush for fried rice. Never again
The meals here were extremely delicious. The general tso’s chicken and the boneless ribs were especially tasty. The restaurant workers were able to carry out my special requests!
