One of my *must* places in nyc.
I just read Sydney’s review about the music... And I must completely disagree. I am, in fact, a jazz musician myself, and I love jazz. I also come from Montreal, so I know all about jazzy bistros. But the 80’s music selection at this place is one of the reasons that keeps me coming back here. The music is absolutely on point. Love this place.

We came here for lunch. We both ordered the black bean burger with cheese and bacon, because we're not even a little vegan. Service was fast and entertaining, food was delicious. Place was dive-y in the best way.

Awesome place, great staff-- knowledgeable as hell!! Cute bay window seating in the front  with a wraparound banquet in the back dining room. Vegetable spring rolls are my JAM. Oh- they play the games too!!

Small bar, so you will probably have to sit on tables.  The food is okay (typical bar food). Same for the drinks.  Good service.  Kitchen closes at 1 am.  Would come here if there aren’t better options.  Nothing special.

I really want to give this place 5 stars because the food is fantastic and the drinks are great BUT it has worlds worst soundtrack. It ruins the ambiance. Why terrible 80 throwbacks are needed in a French bar is a mystery to me. Whoever is making the playlist for the place needs to be removed from that responsibility. PLEASE PLAY BETTER MUSIC. I think a jazz playlist would fit perfectly with this bar if they are looking for suggestions.
