There is a lot of hype for this restaurant.  We waited a half hour to be served and the food was mediocre at best. The server told us to visit the shops.  I think it was more than 30 minutes before our food arrived and there were only a few people in the restaurant. McDonald's would have been better.  They did not seem to know what they were doing.  Don't go to this restaurant.

Locally owned & operated, friendly staff, delicious recipes. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite is their chicken salad. Yes, I said yummy chicken salad! Their homemade soups and bisque is also delicious (bowl or cup). And, they make these divine backed saltine crackers that are pure goodness (high calories but goodness). LuLu's also has outside screened in porch seating which does not have a fabulous view but it is still quaint and comfy when it is not too hot and humid. After you finish eating you can begin shopping immediately b/c they are located in the back of an old house that is full of locally owned shops where you can buy everything from clothes, shoes, locally handmade jewelry, or you can purchase local artists' works of paintings, photographs and pottery. Then step out onto Main St. for more shopping. Oh, and can't forget, LuLu's does have a very good selection of bottled beer some from area brewers.

Friendly service, great food and casual atmosphere surrounded by neat eclectic shops all under one roof. Roast beef po-boy like no other.

We went there for a weekday breakfast. The service was bit slow and the food very basic. It was more like Denny's or iHop rather than a neighborhood cafe I would expect.

took an hour and 40 minutes to get our food and they were not even busy. worst customer service i’ve experienced in a while. they only refilled our drinks one time before we got our food
