Pretty neat. Didn't get to throw axes but, it looked like a ton of fun people seemed to be having a great time. Way cooler than bowling. Hah definitely going back. 30 bucks for 90 minutes good drinks. And they had a band Too Feet Tall they were pretty good. There's a pool table and a wild bear roaming around the entrance so be careful.
Not a bad place to have some fun. When I did get there I was late to my lane. I did call in advance to let them now. When I got there they were all confused and told me I was late. And then made it sound like we were not gonna be able to throw. Only half of the lanes or in US so I don’t understand the hesitation. Also we waited a long time once we actually got there to start throwing because we had to wait for them to instruct us. Also they were supposed to bring us A game book and never did. I’m sure we’ll try it again. If it’s better I’ll increase the star rating.
So much fun!!! We had a girls night here and we all loved it. Ellen was a fantastic instructor and was very patient with us even though we started out doing a really bad job. After the safety briefing she showed us many different ways to fix our flailing forms. Highly recommend spending some time here!!
Very disappointing. Visited the new Waukesha location yesterday and was disappointed. No physical sign, makes it difficult to find. The small room has nothing besides the 5 lanes and no lighting for half the small seating area. The food is tasty, but overpriced $3.50 for a can of soda and they had no plates or utensils. The only positive is the friendly and helpful staff.
We had the most fabuloussss night with our work team. I booked this group reservation with Tracy who was Soo helpful. An extra thanks to Juliette who was our brilliant instructor and was so great and also to Russell who brought us our tasty food . Great service all around which made our first experience at Lumber Axe sooo exceptional.. Thank you sooo much..we will back xo
Hope they get in their new location, sucks that they were not in the same one, I took my wife on one of our 1st dates here. We just had our 1st anniversary and they moved. Someone trashed the elevator with a full chicken and sauce. Not Lumber axes fault.
Ellen was fantastic! First time throwing and she was very attentive and encouraging. Any tips or techniques we needed, she was there and guiding us. Can't wait to return!
I had a really good time here last night. While I didn't engage in throwing axes, I came for the band and ran into some friends. Soda was good and watched the Bucks win. The owner is really nice too. I got a chance to talk with her. Nice place !!
This was our second time Axe throwing. I chose location based on reviews and pictures online. We previewed be drink menu prior to our scheduled day. Sadly when we arrived, it was a Small room, with 6 small lanes, a couple tables and chairs, and a Small drink menu with a few canned beers and white claws. NOTHING like the pictures online! If I had known the “New Location” meant Nothing other than a few lanes, we would have Definitely chose a different Axe throwing place!! We still had fun, but not at all what we expected. Especially for the same price.
We had a lot of fun! The axe coaches were very friendly and helpful! I highly suggest this place!
