Rough road so be prepared but very beautiful. The road is accessible to just about any vehicle but please think about whether you should or not. Four wheel drive not needed but still a good idea. Do not plan on any cell service so if you break down be prepared with a spare tire, food, water, and blankets. Hopefully you won't need it.

The Tuolumne is amazing and the campsite is gorgeous.
