It’s been a while when I went their and ask the receptionist about their facial. She was so rude and she just give me broacher and told me to read it. She even yelled with my special son to keep quit!

I have been going to Lux Medical Spa for about six years. I first came because of a Groupon. I stayed because of the great pricing and service. Everyone is always warm and welcoming. I was so impressed, I shared the excellent service and family like feeling that my sister travels all the way from Whittier to go to Lux.

This business is the most difficult to deal with I've ever encountered.  It took me a few calls to setup an initial appointment.  Once I arrived, I was informed that I made an appointment with the wrong person based on what I needed (laser treatments) - as if I was to blame.  I'm not sure how they expect me to know who does what, so that was Strike 1 for me.  Strike 2 came when I finally did see the right person about a week later.  Her attitude was rather sharp and not focused at all on the customer - very self-centered.  She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my presence.  

Still, after the quick skin test, I decided that I'd let them do the procedure sometime in January or February.  Since they were having a sale on gift cards during the month of December, I called the following week (week of Christmas) to find out when they'd be available, but no one answered or returned my voice message.  I tried again the following week and still got no answer.  On Wednesday (30 December) at around 2 p.m., I drove to their location to discover that they shut down for the rest of the year as of the afternoon of 29 December (the previous day).  There was no mention of this on their website or anywhere else.  They just decided to close shop without warning.  Strike 3.

Yet, I decided to call today to give them one more chance, but only if they would honor the gift card discount.  I called this morning around 10 and this afternoon at 4:30.  Still, no answer (they are showing to be open until 7 p.m.).  My advice is to not bother with these people.  If they are this difficult to reach, their quality of service can't be that good.  In any case, a very frustrating experience.
