I can't begin to describe how impressed my husband and I were with this wonderful boatyard. First, the personnel: professional, engaging, accommodating, enthusiastic. They took a significant amount of time out of their schedules to show us not only a sailboat of interest to us, but their whole operation, in which they deservedly take great pride. Second, the quality. The boats we saw under construction, or being updated, were some of the most impressive things we've ever encountered. The engineering is imaginative but practical at the same time, and the depth of knowledge on the part of the staff is, well, deep. Finally, the facilities appear to be able to handle a boat of any reasonable size. One "hangar" held two 60+-ft sailboats, and dwarfed them. We are seriously thinking of bringing our 44' boat here for wintering if we ever get it north of Annapolis, although I think it would look like a dinghy in the huge buildings.
