This store has always been a great stop when I go riding through Jamul. A country store with charm. A gem in my opinion.

I've been going to the Lyons Valley Trading Post since I was a kid. The current incarnation is clean and stocks the basics. Prices are reasonable for a small place that's off the beaten path. It's a popular pit stop for bikers and cyclists, and my only complaint is that some people hang out and (try to) drink their beers before continuing their journeys.

Owner, Bob, is THE BEST!  We've been buying alfalfa and bermuda from him for years.  Always fairly priced and great delivery service.  We love him also because he's been supportive of folks with livestock when fire emergencies have occurred.  Cute country store too.

Nice little store, convenient when riding the area and great place to stop off for a water, soda or candy bar.  Nice people.  Great stop for motorcyclists riding the area.
