Stay far away from them. Company is full of liars and the contractor broke our ceiling fan when he was supposed to be just checking it. Use someone else.

MC Electric recommended and performed an electrical panel replacement in my home as a vendor for First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation. Mr. Carrion estimated the work on 7/7, and performed the work on 7/12/14. He did NOT pull a permit as required by the City. He did not have an inspection of his work. He did NOT call Oncor for disconnect (Oncor records show he called about tag on 7/25, 13 days AFTER work was completed. Mr. Carrion installed a GE PowerMark Gold panel. He did NOT label the panel cover. He installed a mismatch of breakers. The panel label clearly states: “Use only GE type breakers” and in the warning box on panel: "Use only with GE breakers, use of other circuit breakers voids warranty, may void the UL listing and could result in PROPERTY LOSS or PERSONAL INJURY." The pool motor would not run, and a technician stated the problem was at the newly installed panel. When these lapses were brought to his attention, he refused to correct them or even check them stating that the warranty company doesn't pay him to do that. He insisted I pay him an additional $150 to come out and label the panel. I continued to work this issue with the warranty company for approx. a month to no avail. I opted to have another vendor, Electricman inspect the panel and troubleshoot the pool voltage issue. The below are their findings: 1. main neutral wire needs to be phased 2. Panel needs grounding bushing 3. Three breakers in panel are not u/l listed to be installed in GE box 4. 1/2" knockout in top of box needs to be plugged 5. Several circuits are sharing a neutral and are NOT on a 2-pole breaker 6. Panel is not labeled 7. AC breaker "OVERSIZED". It is on a 50 amp, must be 40 or 45. 8. 2-pole, 30amp breaker for pool equipment was not functioning. When pulled out, it was burnt on one side. This was supposed to be a new breaker. I am completely dissatisfied with his service and responses. There are many other reputable electricians in DFW. Call one of them.
