After reading the reviews I opted for M.E. Plumbing over the competition. It seemed that while there had been reports of personality issues with scheduling of service the services themselves were generally completed competently. After arriving at my driveway M.E. Plumbing decided that my driveway was too abusive for their service vehicle to navigate and further elected to inform my renter they were not even going to try to make the appointment to service the house. They also lied to my tenant by saying that I had been informed of this. My tenant contacted me with this information and was not surprised that I had not actually been contacted at all. I then called the office of M.E. Plumbing and confirmed that the service truck was returning to the office but only to get an ADDITIONAL smaller vehicle to ferry staff and equipment between the service truck and my house. I was informed this would add to the drive time so it could be a full hour of labor just to get to my house. At 20 minutes of drive time and 3 trips being 1. the original drive, 2. the return for the smaller vehicle and 3. the subsequent return, the math held up. Since I had already opened up the wall, identified the leak, removed the water heater to allow access, and cut out the plate and stud that impeded access to the leak I figured this would be about the same as the hour travel time. Instead I was charged 2 hours of travel time. The M.E. Plumbing staff did arrive at 10 but what they did for the other hour remains undefined and certainly should not be billed to me. If they had to off-load, prep, or in anyway configure the other vehicle that should be on their time not mine. When I questioned the charges they reduced the labor time from 4 hours to 3.75 hours. I made light of this paltry adjustment at which the M.E. Plumbing agent yelled, “If you would maintain your driveway this wouldn’t have been an issue!”. UPDATE: So after the initial disagreements about property access and billing THE LEAK WAS STILL THERE. I called M.E. Plumbing to request a full refund and took the day off work to fix the problem myself. The owner of M.E Plumbing called me and kindly requested to visit the house and review the work that was done to better understand the situation. I fully supported the postmortem analysis and I wanted to get his reaction to my issues in person. I found the owner an affable fellow and personally enjoyed my interaction with him. To his credit he walked into a situation where a very displeased client had an honest grievance and he handled it professionally. The owner agreed my driveway not as bad as advertised and was personally dissatisfied with the companies performance when I demonstrated the leak. I accepted his offer to rectify the situation. Later that day the original crew returned, the van made it all the way to the house, and bypassed the slab leak. My tenant again has hot water and is no longer flooded. While it was a rocky start I was happy with the willingness to admit and rectify mistakes in a timely manner. I will use M.E. Plumbing in the future.

Brian and Cody came out within an hour of calling them. They asked questions about what was going on and immediately went in and fixed the problem by removing the toilet and snaking the lines to include the shower. To make sure the problem was fixed they asked us to run water upstairs and downstairs so they could check for correct drainage and no leaks. Before leaving they took the time to clean the shower and floor around the toilet with disinfectant cleaner and everything they were in contact with as well as asking if we had any questions for them. These two guys were very polite and professional and we would recommend ME Plumbing to anyone.

I want to commend 2 staff members of Mike Edwards plumbing (M E Plumbing) for their professionalism and their quick work on a project at my house. Bob and Mr. Benavides were very neat, and clean and completed the task in a conservative amount of time and explained all the details of the job as they moved forward. Thank you Mike Edwards and David Driggers for hiring professional reliable people, always returning calls and always showing up when you say you're going to be there. Juliane Sullivan

Could Not find a plumber and they came right out. They are very polite and helpful in everyway! I will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs!
