The speakeasy was super cool. I haven't been to any and heard about these places a lot on social media. Luckily, I was just taken here by some friends last week. The drink I had was pretty strong. The sangria too. So they're doing it right for the price. You won't need a lot. You may need to come early or get a reservation or you'll be standing all night. That's cool if you're bar hopping. Vibe - 5 Price - 3.5 Bar menu variety - 4 they need more beer Food menu - 4 Flavor - 4 Service - 3 Need some improvements but overall an okay bar!
I went here for the hidden speakeasy, not so much for the restaurant. The underground tunnel, the props you see when walking through the tunnel place this speakeasy in the top 5 in Las Vegas. The drinks have creative names and their presentations unique. Bartender was conversational and even recommended some cocktails. Tequila has a heavy presence with their drinks, so if you are a tequila connoisseur this place is for you. They have happy hour specials on drinks and food 3-6pm. The tacos are decent, I would recommend the jalapeño egg rolls, really good. Parking: Parking lot is very busy with crowded. In a shopping center with little parking compared to number of businesses.
I went with a friend for dinner to try this place. I loved it was decorated with Nightmare before Christmas theme. We sampled some gourmet tacos and bowls together. The best gourmet we tried was the Pho for flavor. The bowl could have used some more sour cream barely any maybe they didn't want to overpower the other flavors. Next time, since need reservation would go with friends to the back aka speakeasy part. Parking: The parking lot always crowded since so many food places. Recommend if parking lot full park in next parking lot and walk over.
Hidden bar behind a taco shop. You must have a reservation and it's timed with a minimum spend per person. It's not difficult to get to the $25/person minimum. The food was awesome! Seriously really good. Most specialty drinks are tequila based, but they have other options too. It gets pretty loud with music so be prepared for that. The atmosphere is pretty cool since it's decorated as nightmare before christmas.
Very cool place in an unassuming strip mall. You do need a reservation to get into the back as they can be very busy even when the front looks empty. The drinks are unique & presentation is wonderful. The tacos are also great! Tristan was a great bartender & made sure to check in on us regularly.
Definitely a great find and not easy to find : there is a speak easy bar too if you go through the tunnel. The vibe is ok or one can say it’s great but it’s not amazing. I’m not 100% of the food at this time. But the vibe is definitely kind of vibrant. Items worth the visit to avoid how boring the strip is and if you don’t like it here you still have all of Chinatown to explore and many restaurants to choose delicious food from. It’s one of the greatest ways to explore Las Vegas and the very many secret areas of the city to avoid the strip.
If you take anything away from this, it's make reservations. If you do, you will not be disappointed, and after you walk through the drug tunnel, you end up in one of Las Vegas hidden speak easy with a Latino twist. With good food and drinks and beautiful decor.Food: 5/5
If you want an Instagram-able place. This is it. The theme, decor, and the way the drinks looked were great. HOWEVER, the quality, taste, and prices were trash. I’ve had street food 20 times better than this. You have to spend at least $50 per person to eat here for only 90 minutes. We spent about $75 per person on food and alcoholic beverages. I left sober and hungry.
Ambience 10/10 Cocktails 8/10 shots are great in presentation but not value for money Food is 7/10 server 10/10. Overall 8/10, we went there on a Friday night it was quite busy. DJ was playing great songs. Amazing time, found it a little on the expensive side but try atleast once
Came here for Tacos. Waited an hour and 30 minutes for our food… and when we got our food it was the incorrect meat. So then we had to wait another 20 minutes. There is a “secret” club in the back and I feel like the cooks were to busy making food for the club and not making food for the actual restaurant. I ordered a Taco salad, wasn’t impressed super flimsy barely any flavor. Not impressed with this Tex Max place. Plus, you got down the hall to the bathroom and it’s super sketch. The bathrooms clean though… lol
