Great! An awesome place to play some airsoft. The staff are really nice, haven't come across any cheaters, and fun to play at. If you're ever in need to play airsoft, play here! Plus they will explain you you EVERYTHING you need to know. Any questions, ask them.

First off, the staff is stellar. Mike and his whole team were nothing less than impeccably social. Not only did they remember my name, a noob who'd never been in there before, but they did their best to make sure my time there was well spent and rewarding. They were immediate in dealing with any questions or issues, and nothing less than consummately polite and professional. Not to say that they were cold; just that they were something you'd want to have in your own business - especially when dealing w/ a noob like me. I had 2 immediate weapon malfunctions. I know the M9 in airsoft is different from the M9 I used in the USMC, still w/ that sucky long-assed trigger pull, but when the slide shot off the front of the pistol on the first shot, they immediately replaced the gun and I was back out on the field. What surprised me is how friendly and sociable the entire staff and clientele were there. Considering we're playing a game where the objective is to "kill" your enemy, everyone was really happy and friendly. There was one guy w/ a propane/tubed system that whined and took things WAAAAAAAY too seriously, everyone else was really chill. The kids, and there were probably 15/40 kids there, were so well-behaved and respectful, and always called their shot and said "BANG-BANG" instead of lighting you up at 3', that I have to give a shout out to the whole >14yrs old crowd there. You guys do a great job blazing the way for the next gen of airsofters. I'd play with you any day. Another big plus, is the variation of games that they play. There's always the ubiquitous Team Deathmath, which is great fun, but they have CTF, Infection, Domination, Traitor, etc. that really makes a nice departure from the just go-kill-everyone flavor. The objectives really give all the players a sense of purpose. I must've got tagged up 20 times, but it was still the most fun I've ever had getting shot. LOL! The only suggestion for a change that I would give, and this is only my personal opinion, is to rearrange the playing field a bit. This takes place in an old Nat'l Guard Armory (ironic?) and there's two sides - Mansion (near the staging area) and the dock side (loading dock). It's SO much easier to move out from the Mansion side, and so much easier to get pinned in from the dock side (... :( ...) when playing. Other than that, since the game modes switch frequently, and there's always some cool D&B or dubstep playing, it's quite enjoyable. My suggestion is to come to play few hours before sunset and play through 'til night. The lighting changes and it makes for a whole different feel. In any case, it's a hidden gem in the middle of the WV piedmont, and I invite you to go there for a great time. Don't let your meat loaf, -Mike
