I went here because they had good reviews on Google. And I wasn't disappointed. The place is tiny, but clean. They have a few tables. I ordered curry puff - I've never tried it. They are very tasty, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nice combination with a sweet sauce. .I also took a large tom kha soup and it was very large. It's good that Thai food is light. The service is very nice and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it
Really love the changes new ownership has made. All of the food I have ordered has been great. Very nice people over the phone and a great option for food in the neighborhood. I’ve heard the dine in experience has improved immensely from others and have to try it myself one day. More room to sit inside and great service. Most definitely recommend. Particularly the eggplant and Pad sea yew. Update: also had dine in now, and food was amazing and service was great! Vegetarian options: Eggplant and many of the pasta dishes have vegetarian options
I was in the neighborhood and decided to have a late lunch with my sister. This is a nice little restaurant that definitely gave the feeling of a “home” vibe. I loved that the owner had their story attached to the menu which kind of gave a little of the thoughtfulness that went into the menu items. We ordered Tom yum soup which came with 3 shrimp and I must say it was delicious. Perfect tartness and spice. I had the red curry with chicken and my sister had the Thai fried rice with chicken. Both were a decent size portion, might I say even shareable. Both dishes were flavorful. My favorite item was the butterfly blue iced tea. Sweet, refreshing with a strong after taste of tree bark. Try it, I promise you will enjoy it as much as I did. My sister and I were both surprised at the total bill because we got take home orders and it still was such a great price overall. Very budget friendly restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Thai food and will definitely be visiting again to try other menu options.
Today my husband and I decided to try our neighborhood restaurant and we landed on this gem. Excellent food and so was the service. We enjoyed every bite of the meals that we ordered. We will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. Recommended dishesPad See EW, Curry Puff, Spicy Basil
1st impressions last a lifetime. I was in the mood for Thai and after a quick google search, Ma Kin happened to be walking distance from my home. Fon was very pleasant. She greeted us immediately after walking in. The place was very clean and bright. On to the food: I had the Shrimp roll & The garlic chicken lunch special. My wife had the chicken Pad Thai. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh. After going thru my dish, I was leaning over eating off of my wife's plate. I will be a regular. Thank you Ma Kin!
This place is fantastic!! My family and my partner and I have often gotten Tasty Thai on Myrtle for Thai food. MA KIN IS SO MUCH BETTER!! Curry puffs, couldn’t stop eating them. Rose Rangoon and shrimp rolls? Oh my god. The noodle dishes? Packed with flavor, the noodles aren’t overly chewy or gummy, just perfect. Best Thai Iced Tea I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of Thai iced tea, and their Butterfly Tea was also amazing! Their desserts?! I’m not a fan of coconut or even pudding, but their coconut puddings were tasty treats I’ll definitely get again, their cheesecake tasted like real cheesecake, and I am a die-hard fan for lava cake. They NAILED that. If you’re looking for the best Thai food in all of Queens, this is it!

Makin Thai is a new restaurant that just opened few weeks ago ,the food is excellent,chef Oh and his staff prepare the most authentic Thai food and homemade ice cream for all customers.staff are very friendly and professional,atmosphere is great to have friends and family for lunch and dinner.would recommend this place.
Very pleased with the food. I had the fried chicken, spring rolls and rose Rangoon. It was all very yummy.My husband loved the eggplant dish he ordered. Delivery was quick. Very happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Will be ordering again.Food: 5/5
