Service is the best! I enjoyed all of my tacos, and I would love to come back and try the others. I loved my first drink and also liked my second. We had great servers, big commendations to both. I’m so glad they recommended we sit outside, it was still a bit loud at times but the ambience was excellent.
Best taco and tequila selection in Denver! I can’t even name the “best” taco since they are all delicious, even the lobster taco in what seems like a dive location. The atmosphere is comfortable, prices are affordable, and it’s great to try something new. Must visit!
If you’re ever looking for authentic tacos, extraordinary drinks and the absolute best service, you HAVE to check our Machete! The atmosphere and environment is perfect! They have indoor and outdoor seating! The music and food is the perfect touch. But the best part of my experience was because of our waitress, Asia! She was constantly checking in with us and made sure we were having a great time with their food and drinks! She was so considerate and enjoyable! We loved her customer service because she went above and beyond for us! So next time you go in, ask for Asia because you won’t regret it! 10/10 highly recommend!
Always a great experience at Machete! We've been here probably a dozen times. The food is consistently splendid, and the drinks are tasty. They make a couple of good Mezcal-based cocktails, which I personally really enjoy, and their tacos are a hit every time. This my least favorite of the chain’s locations. The noise level was pretty intense - meaning the combination of the music and the tables next to us made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. We were so close that the woman at the next table hit me in the face. My margarita tasted like Jose Cuervo mix and my tacos had to be eaten with a fork and knife because the tortillas more or less dissolved when I picked them up. I expected more because I’ve only had good experiences at their Union Station location and it’s in Cherry Creek.
Good tacos and margaritas, expect a higher price for food. I really enjoyed my Blood Orange margarita, strong tequila flavor, but not overpowering. They let you pick salt or sugar for the rim. I ordered the Quesabirria and the Pescado black squid ink tortilla. I thought they were good flavor but the meat and fish inside felt a bit dry on both somehow. Service was very friendly and attentive. We also ordered chips and guacamole. I can’t really review that since I don’t like avocados but for an extra $6 for the quac. Seems really pricy. Chips were very crisp and a bit oily and salsa wasn’t anything special. Might go back and try other options in the future.
We had a wonderful meal here! The ingredients are always fresh & I love their sauces!! They said they are hopefully getting margaritas soon!
finding parking is the most annoying part. not the fanciest looking place for being in cherry creek but the tacos are priced fairly. the chips and salsa to start were average, most authentic mexican spots will do two different salsas and refried beans. not the case here. the kona drink and the shishito peppers were great! didn’t care for either of my tacos : didn’t have my actual camera on me for this one so hard to tell cause the lighting
Generous portions and flavorful dishes. Recommend the queso fundido with chorizo as a starter which went great with the spicy margarita. Great place for a night out with friends and sharing bites.Food: 5/5
Mi humilde opinión…. Se me olvidó pedir la cebolla y cilantro al lado…First of all I’m not your typical Mexican but I can vouch for their Lengua Tacos.. yes, tongue tacos… I usually like a green salsa or sauce on my tongue tacos, but they used a red sauce and it was delicious! Not too spicy.. and not insípida, gracias… At first I ordered a Negroni Azteca drink, which is under their margaritas section… I was interested because of the mezcal…smokey and perfect for this icy weather… but I ordered Spicy Rico Margarita because that’s more my style… the jalapeños.. cilantro equaled a margarita perfect companion to my lengua taco. It’s just me plus me tonight so, yes, 5 Stars Machete! Y Gracias!! You treated me so kind. I’ll be back for more to explore your unique drink and food menu… I’m thinking..A Day In Tulum Margarita and Barbacoa Tacos… see you soon besos
