If there's a place to enjoy the Biggest Little City at its finest, it's at Mackay Stadium. Home to the Nevada Wolf Pack, the stadium is easy to get to, offers fantastic seating from all sides, and gets you up close and personal with the teams. Sure, it isn't a Big Twelve or SEC stadium, but that's what gives it the Reno feel.

Tonight was the first time I attended a football game here. I was unimpressed at the ease of access to all areas. Security at the gate only checks people with bags, not the individual. Signs are posted that state no weapons are allowed, but they don't check. You are on the honor system at this place, haha. I had seats in the upper section, and my ticket was never checked, even as I roamed other grandstand seating areas trying to find my section. I liked the arena and the entertainment, but security is flawed. Hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the ass...

Okay but we spent money on a score board that doesn't work as it doesn't show the downs or yards to go. Neither one works

Mackay Stadium is a collseum to the community. I have fond childhood memories of stomping up and down the metal bleachers with my POP Warner Football teammates, wearing our shoulderpads jerseys and cleats cheering on our Wolfpack Football Team and howling like wolf Cubs every time the ROTC Wolfpack Battalion Cannon Crew fired the Freemont Cannon signaling yet another touchdown!
