Abby was great, food was great, and view was great! We sat out on their patio, weather was perfect for some out door diner. Could see boats coming and going. Wife got the stuffed flounder and I got the beef pastie. It's been years since I've last had a pastie but I think it was better than I remember them being. Wife loved the stuffed flounder. It was her birthday and they even bring you out a little birthday cake. Got a fudge Sunday to go with it, the Sunday was loaded with fudge. Only complain was not eating here earlier in our trip as we would have stopped here more than once. Next trip this place was definitely be a priority stop.

I've eaten here many times, the food and the salad bar is good.  I've also recommended it to friends, but this trip not so much.  We stood waiting to be seated for over 5 minutes.  Three employees looked at us and walked away.  The main dining area was empty,  so they  weren't that busy. We wound up going to the Driftwood down the street where the service and the food was great.

Our first meal as a married couple and it was amazing. Had jumbo shrimp and cheese stick for apps. Steak and whitefish combo dinner and she had lobster stuffed flounder. Everything was delish and servers are awesome.

Returned next night for dinner again and received same great service and great food again. This place is gold.

We are here on vacation and came to the Mackinac grille because we've been here before and it was good then. Something has drastically changed. The service is absolutely abominable. The food was bland and cooked incorrectly. The service is super slow. Went half of our meal without drinks. And when we got drinks filled, half of us went without drinks. We had to ask someone else to get our bills and it took 3 trips back to the table before our bills were brought. We won't be coming back when we are back for vacation.

The food was very good, the view from the patio was awesome.  Everything was reasonably priced.  The downside was that it took 15 minutes once we were seated for any wait staff to get to the table.
