Story

Mackintosh Academy is Colorado's oldest "School of Minds," serving the unique needs of gifted children for nearly 40 years. Offering one of the area's only private International Baccalaureate programs (PreK-8), students experience a rigorous education focused on excellence within a nurturing, holistic environment that honors the hearts and minds of children. Mackintosh is committed to creating critical and reflective THINKERS for the 21st century by providing children with the most credible, constructivist, inquiry-based IB curriculum.

Our goal is to maximize learning potential and promote development of the whole child. We want our students to mature into whole, healthy human beings who are confident about their unique gifts and their place in the world. We are committed to an academic program that emphasizes a passion for life-long learning. In pursuing this goal, we strive to ensure that each child develops socially, emotionally, creatively, physically, and cognitively in a nurturing and supportive environment.
