First things first, the parking lot is nasty. It is filled with pot holes and cracked pavement. It's been like that for years and no one seems to care enough to fix it. This is one of the smallest Macy's stores you'll ever see. Beyond the bad first impression, this is not all that bad of a store. The inside itself is clean and the stock is orderly. The staff will go out of their way to help you get a good deal. I remember a time some crazy lady was telling me the only thing there for her was the good selection of Waterford Crystal.

Customer service is superb but WATCH OUT for possible theft when shopping in this Saginaw store, especially with upcoming holiday season. My teen made the mistake of leaving Macy's shopping bag unguarded while browsing and it was gone in a matter of minutes - giant Macy's bag filled with purchased bedding. Great sympathy from store employees but store still unable (?) to check security camera footage, bag was left in plain sight of ceiling camera. Store did mention they nab shoplifters frequently. Additionally, even though used Macy's America Express card, no help or financial reimbursement for theft as offered by standard AMEX cards. Sad...

I love Macy's! They always have great sales and the staff in the Saginaw store is outstanding! The young lady cashier in the women's department was very knowledgeable of her dept. The store was a little busy but she answered her customers with knowledge and respect. Thank you for such a wonderful shopping trip! Patti Kloha
