Never come here. This is the worst Macy’s I have ever been to. They should close it down. Trashy, not enough staff to serve you, very limited selection.

Sales clerk was satisfactory. But very bothered that there is an additional charge for bag... I declined bag purchase... I refuse to pay an extra cost for bag... annoyed... i spent approx $500... insulted by bag cost.... will no longer shop in Alameda County... not worth going inside brick & motar stores with these type agitating experiences.

Found a cute outfit but unable to use "get cash" didnt have card but had receipt. My brother spent $200 for perfume for my birthday. May take my purchase back. I would think the receipt would be more important than the paper card which he didn't receive

Got married a year and a half ago, we lived with my mom right away and had no immediate use for our registry gifts. We just moved to this area and I tried to bring some items back that were on my wedding registry that we had no need or room for. The cashier looks at the gift receipt and says it's over a year old and can't take them back. She called her manager to ask if they can and she said no. I asked if they can return without a receipt, even if I got the lowest sale value for them because I wanted to spend more money in the store and buy other things. The cashier said if they did that I'd only be getting about $3 for each mug ( I had 6 mugs and like 10 plates to return). I said that was better than nothing and I'd appreciate that. She called her manager to ask if she could and got yelled at for even asking. I called corporate in the parking lot and the guy gave me the same story. After 365 days they don't take it back. And even he would not allow me to return them without a receipt. He would do absolutely nothing to help me. I've worked retail for years! I can't tell you how many times I had to kiss someone's ass to make them happy, even if it meant going against store policy. "The customer is always right" is the long standing mantra. I used to hate that because those customers were usually jerks. I stayed calm and polite. It was not the cashier's fault, she wanted to help, the manager and corporate did not. The corporate representative even started giving me attitude and raising his voice because I wouldn't accept his answer. This is absolutely ridiculous! A customer was ok with getting the lowest sale value back on items just so they could spend a lot more money buying what they needed. This store could have gained a lot more than what they would have given me because of it, but since they refused to help at all I will not be a Macy's shopper anymore. If you're planning your registry at Macy's, think twice about it.
