We have been here many times specially when we had out of town guests. The first time we ate there my steak was delicious. That was soon after it opened. Every time we go back the food and service go further down in quality. The last few times we have gone I didn't eat but a few bites and I didn't want anymore, it did not taste right. I wanted to send it back but my husband said don't. The prices are extremely high for our small town community. Another point to know it was built to cater to the rich northerners who come down here and retire and buy or build extremely expensive homes in the gated community of "River Landing". The Murphy's built this community in a swamp, when Hurricane Floyd came most of these fine mansions were well flooded, but I included this to say that the eatery is there to cater to those who live in that community and they get highly discounted meals included in their HOA fees each year. My suggestion is keep driving, STOP at your own peril!

Service was good, but you would have thought the food would have been better. Ordered the fried pickles, they were soggy, no crunch, the oil may not been hot enough. We got the pork tenderloin sandwich, it came out in a foil wrapper. This was a sit down restaurant with a fast food feel. Was a big let down

The salad bar was fresh and pretty good, however my daughters hamburger smelled disgusting. As soon as it was brought to the table that's all I could smell. I cut it up for her and soon realized that the meat was bad. I didn't let her eat it. My husband got some type of sausage and beef burger. He said all he could taste was the sausage and seemed odd. He didn't finish his meal. For three adults and one child the price was well over $50, much too much! I pass this place each time I go to Topsail island and figured we'd finally give it a chance this time. Never again. The restaurant also looked like they were about to start closing the doors for good. The bar didn't have any stools and was kind of roped off. On our way to the bathrooms the manager kept leaving the door to the stock room open, it was a lot of hassle to keep closing the door behind him to get past. If you know the door is in the walkway wouldn't you close it for customers? I dunno, save your money for something more reliable like McDonalds or Bojangles right across the street. We would've had better food and a lot less money!

very designed the food was great loved the sweet potato fryes tried the barbecue. I expected a smokey taste to it but the sauces was the only barbecue taste. Inquired about non-alcoholic wines had not heard of any. Great service say I will venture there again but bring my on bottle.

When we got there we had to wait several minutes before anyone would acknowledge we were waiting to be seated. Multiple people kept walking past. Food was ok but have had better at other places. Service was terrible. Our waitress only came to our table 3 times and acted like it was a burden to refill our drinks just the one time and no one ever asked how our food was. I can honestly say I won't be back.
