It was warm inside, outside temperature was 5 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Subway was great and the staff professional. The truck stop was a dirty hole, everything needed to be stocked like toilet paper and washer fluid at all pumps. It was not busy. But what can you expect for 5 dollar parking in Detroit.

Has improved much in past couple years. Safe, secure. Store has a good variety. Bathrooms remodeled and clean. Good, clean showers with unending supply of hot water.

They let you pay for weekly parking but you’re not guaranteed a spot once you leave. So if you get back to the truck stop and all the spots are filled, you either have to wait and luck up for someone to leave or find somewhere else to park after you’ve paid your money to park there for a week. If I’m paying a weekly fee that means I plan on parking my truck and trailer there everyday that I’ve paid for. The problem is they issue more parking passes than they have spots available. Then they don’t want you parking your personal car in a spot that you’ve already paid for and threaten to tow your car. What’s the point of me paying a weekly fee if I’m not gauranteed a spot??? One of the cashiers told me if I didn’t like it to park somewhere which was very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend long term parking at this truck stop. They’re just trying to get over on people.

Not as bad as others try to make it.  Yes, lot is dirty, but who's fault is that?  Get over it, ppl!  Restrooms were clean, store was having work done, Subway was clean and fresh.  I'll stop again!
