Mahe Restaurant Seal Beach and Dana Point

Story

A great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Specializing in the freshest seafood, steaks, and sushi. We feature live music most Wednesdays and every Thursday from 7:30 to 11:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 to 12:00. The bar and lounge area is a great place to enjoy any sporting event with happy hour Tuesday through Saturday from 4:30 to 6:00 pm, Sunday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Monday night is happy hour all night! We are also happy to offer half-off all bottles of wine and sake every Sunday and Tuesday night anywhere in the restaurant. Mondays and Wednesdays are also all you can eat for $25. at the sushi bar only. We open the lounge at 4:30 and the dining room at 5:00 Monday-Saturday and an hour earlier on Sundays.
Dana Point is open for Lunch Friday-Sunday at 11:30 am.

Happy hour is the best!! We ate so much and had a round of drinks and our bill was very reasonable. Live music is fantastic here, and there is a lot of seating in the restaurant/sushi bar side. Great atmosphere!

Way over priced for what you get there. I paid nearly $100 for 2 of us and we left the place hungry. Also I had to wait forever to have my bill take care of it. I won't be back there.

Hit the happy hour specials 4-6:30 Tuesday to Sunday (all day Monday) in the lounge, which is like bar only different. Good food, good drinks, nice staff, clean restroom. It was a perfect snack and beverage on PCH.

There are few places left alone by new owners when they buy a successful restaurant. This was a restaurant in seal beach with character and history.... and mr sushi on fire tried to bring Huntington beach to seal beach and in my humble opinion, failed..... stripped every memory i shared here and swapped it for a contemporary faceless atmosphere with bar stools so hi you cant put your feet on the floor without being on your tip toes....... having said that, the kitchen remained untouched and the sushi is as good as it always was...... ill take my sushi to go from now on...... dave julich.....

The waiter was super nice and the food was good. What I didn't like is you couldn't participate in the happy hour if you were at the tables or at the sushi bar. Which I have NEVER heard of before. The bar room was very small, stuffy and there was no room to sit or stand. This would not be a place that I would return to.
