FABULOUS!  Has all the tenets of a top notch and authentic BBQ Restaurant!  Superb food with kind and warm service.  Ownership is present and accountable, managing quality at all levels.  A MUST EAT, historical dining spot when in Oklahoma.

BE AWARE OF TAKE OUT ORDERS! I ordered and paid for 2 different kinds of meat and when I got home they just gave me 1/2 of what I ordered on BOTH meats! Yet I was charged for the full amount of what I ordered! I tried to talk to a manager on the phone and the catering person who answered the phone was very rude and would not let me talk to the manager. We will definitely be letting our friends that frequently eat at this restaurant know what happened. We will NEVER be back to Mahylon’s  again. 
**FOLLOWUP**. Was able to make contact with the manager.  He was very kind, concerned and apologetic for this situation.  He was also more than willing to compensate us.  We stressed to him that this was not about compensation but more about the situation.  If a company takes this kind of time to make a bad situation right, then they are definitely worth our continued business.

I work here. So it may be biased. But the owner is always telling us to be very careful about quality. He is very proud of his food and for good reason. I personally am a huge fan of the ribs. The BBQ sauce is also excellent. He keeps the recipe a guarded secret. The ribeyes are also killer. 22 Oz!

Great food, but small portions for a large price.

To explain: a two meat plate includes your choice of two meat. I had sliced brisket and smoked bologna. I received four thin cuts of bologna of a half log. The sliced brisket was three thin cuts of brisket about 2"x2.5" the rest of the plate was french fries and Texas toast.

While the main dish was flavorful, there wasn't enough of it to justify $17.73 for lunch and a soda for one.

My husband and I tried Mahylon's on 8/3/17.  The waitresses and door greeter had some of the best customer service that we have ever seen in a restaurant.  They also had terribly cooked food and a very rude cook.  I ordered chicken fried steak with a loaded baked potato and salad.  I thought I was in for a treat, who doesn't love chicken fried steak?  The potato had been setting under the warmer so long it was hard and cracked in places, the gravey was the same- it was congealed.  The chicken fried steak was a good cut of meat for the price, that had been destroyed.  The batter was overly salty and when you cut a piece off the batter came off!  I ate one bite of it and a tried a bite of my husband's ribs and we felt like our throats had been coated with old grease.  My husband did not eat his ribs, I tried a piece and spit it out it was so bad.  It was old and bland.  When the cook asked about my plate, he could visually see how old it was.  He offered to replace it, but I was already feeling unwell from the food, so I declined his offer.  When the cook asked my husband what was wrong with his ribs, he told the cook they were bland.  The cook laughed in his face!  I looked that man straight in his face and told him that I tried a piece and spit it out! Gross.  Asking my mother in law about it, her and all her friends had already quit eating here because this cook has ruined what was a great restaurant!
