Ordered online for pickup for lunch. My order was ready when I picked it up and the owner was so friendly and welcoming when I came in. The food is delicious and seasoned well. I ordered level 2 spicy and it’s just enough spicy for me. The portion was enough to save for dinner at a great lunch price! My first time here and I’ll definitely be back to try more things.
There's not much to complain about. The food was on point! Ordered online and it was ready at the estimated time. The restaurant was busy but the staff seemed to handle the load well. Definitely our new Thai spot.Food: 5/5
Hmmm on an extended visit from Brooklyn, NY and I gotta say I never had Thai food quite like this. Service was great, Location is beautiful but the Food is... unique. Never saw Pad See Ew or Pad Kee Mao with sliced carrots, reg broccoli & celery. Usually it's Chinese Broccoli or Bok Choy. Texture was a little off too, normally extra wide rice noodles are used not the pad thai style ones. Spice was no where near spicy either. They have 4 levels, went with 2 on reccomendation, but I think the 4 is actually "reg" level. Hard to find Thai in Augusta so guess it's good to satisfy a quick craving but not great for a return visit.
We just this place as we were walking outside Publix and we never had Thati food for a while so we took the risk and tried it we usually read reviews first before we try a restaurant. We're glad we did cuz it satisfied our Thai food cravings. Our waiter took good care of us although all of them stayed in the kitchen the entire time. I usually get pad thai from other restaurants and theirs is kinda similar. We will go there again for sure.
I walked in and waited to be seated at the entrance. There is no sign indicating to wait or just pick a table. I dod notice a cart with a lot of used dishes that was blocking the walk walkway. I waited for 10 minutes the owner and the waitress saw me. I made eye contact with both and they still ignored me. They kept on looking on my way and they still didnt even acknowledge me. I was really looking forward in trying out there food. Its unfortunate that my first time here i wasnt even acknowledge. I didnt even get a chance to make a proper review on the food.
I was disappointed when I got my food delivered. I ordered Lard Nar noodles but it wasn’t a typical and authentic Lard Nar noodles like other Thai places plus found a bug in the noodles made my food appetite gone. I also asked for utensils but none given. Luckily, food was still hot when I got it and their sweet sticky rice and mango made me feel a bit better. There’re plenty of good Thai restaurants..I just think that I didn’t pick a good one this time.
It smelled so good when I got it home and we dug in like wild savage animals. So sorry for the half eaten food pics. We ordered Pad Thai which was perfect!!! Some places I have tried it and it taste like dog food... don’t ask how I know! We also ordered Thai rice, a curry I could not pronounce, and fresh rolls. And of course Thai tea Everything was perfection!!! Best Thai in town! Also the service is great! Everyone is so sweet Also kids loved the Pad Thai
This was my first time eating here. Actually placed the order online without realizing it was not my normal Thai place. Not sure if it was because it was close to closing or what but the instructions made online were completely ignored. I asked for extra utensils and was given none. I ordered Drunken Noodles with Tofu, Spring Rolls, and Fresh Rolls with Tofu. They were out of Fresh Rolls and replaced with Fried Tofu. The noodles were dry and one large clump. The tofu in the noodles was oily and soggy. The Fried Tofu had been fried entirely to long they were tough like leather. This place is a lot closer to my house so would've been great if it worked out. I'm going to give them a second chance and order earlier in the day and hope I get a better result...if not Mai Thai will be a no for me or anyone who asks about it.
Good food portion was just right Service was very good as well Take a friend to lunch here? Yes without a doubtFood: 5/5
The Thai food was really good. We ended up all getting noodles and honestly was thrilled. After ordering, we got our appetizer within 10 minutes and the entrees arrives about 15 after. The place is not a fancy restaurant and definitely casual but that being said, the menus were new and clean. The furniture was in great shape as well. I would recommend this for togo or for a nice quick bite. Vegetarian options: All the meals could be vegetarian except the duck and seafood dishes. Tofu was an option for the protein. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with several chicken dishes. Parking: This is located next to a publix and there is tons of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Saw ramps, and tables were space far enough apart for wheelchair access.
