Story

Main Street has been serving up the Jersey Shores greatest burgers for over 30 years now. We havent stopped at just our hand patted burgers. We feature great steaks, creative sandwiches, fresh seafood and a full bar. Whether youre coming in off the beach with the family for dinner, having a few drinks before heading home after work or just want to have a few burgers cooked in front of you on our grill behind the bar, Main Street is where everyone feels comfortable.

Have been a customer for over 30 years.  Used to be our second kitchen. Moved away for business but still visit when back in town.  Don’t know what’s happened. Bar service was terrible and we were 2 of about 6 people at the bar.  Waited almost 10 minutes befor the bartender looked our way and there were two! Table service was ok but food was underwhelming. Wife’s steak was tough.  Place was empty.  Used to really hop with great service, great food.

This place used to be the best family restaurant in the area.  Great food/drink, terrific service, and nice surroundings.  Since it changed hands, the food/drink and service are still good, but the surroundings are less than desirable.  Some of the furnishings are ripped and past their time.  There is a foul odor near the hostess stand which is only a few yards from the rest rooms. Smells like a backed up sewer.   We always liked this place, but have stopped going due to the smell (not best  just before dinner or lunch).  I hope they address this .

Three stars is a gift! Usually cone here for the two for one burgers which are vary good even at regular price. Last night went with my Brother and he had burger and brought the other home to my nephew. This left me with the decision to get the burger or try something different. Wish I had stuck to the burger. Ordered the pulled pork tacos with cabbage, pico and a spicy aioli. Pork was dry and over cooked, aioli was too spicy with serachi flavoring. I can live with that but the fact that not one of the two bartenders check back was annoying. Guess they where too busy talking to the regular customers and the other staff. Did not question why I hardly touch my food. Left 25% tip and most likely will not return. I'm a waiter for 40 plus years and work too hard for my money to spend on mediocre food and service. Management should instruct staff on points of service.
