Main Street Elkader Inc

I am an artist exhibitor and co-organizer of this event (full disclosure).  This fine art festival seeks to be the must-see regional art festival for professional artists in the quad-state area.  The organizers are just that--very organized!  Great attention is given to treating the artists, musicians and culinary vendors with excellent attention, service and care.  Artists are offered an air conditioned hospitality room with free, great food for the weekend and volunteers frequently stop by booths to offer water, food, or breaks.  The art is diverse and excellent, and well-priced for such high standards.  The host town, Elkader Iowa, welcoming and friendly, and offers a lot of fun quaint town shopping. The Turkey River offers many places to put in a canoe or kayak easily, and there's lots of camping spaces and B&Bs to lodge in.  Several notable restaurants offer excellent food.  It's a great art festival in located in gorgeous rolling hills with lots to do in the area!
