Honestly I have never understood why people would honestly take time to review a place on Google but after dealing with main street renewal I completely understand why. Well they manage to lose rent fairly easily if you pay in real life so I highly suggest if you're considering picking main street try to gather as much proof as possible before you pay rent every time, since they're about as responsible as a toddler. Secondly from the main office to Corporate the customer service is non existent they had lost one of my rent payments after I had showed up to pay it and instead of calling us to inform us that a rent payment was missing they had decided to skip any courtesy call and send us a court summons for rent we had already paid and had proof from them saying we had paid it already when I called corporate to try and find help they told me I was venting and I was responsible for checking and keeping up with them logging in my rent. They have been no help. Rude. And lack any understanding on how to properly manage a company. This has been the first review I have ever left on a company and its really a shame because while i know this review means nothing I just hope I can warn one person before they get involved with this place.

I am giving 1 star only because I can’t give 0 stars. I will never use or recommend these people at all. The homes on the website were not up to date, and we had to go through the process of renting only to find out the houses that were marked as available, were not. This happened 3 times! Finally on the 4th house, we were able to lock it on. We move in on a Friday, just to find out there is 0 AC. Even better, they would not send anybody out until Tuesday of the next week. We could not sleep here. Our toddler could not sleep here. And they did not seem to care. This place is a joke and stay away from Main Street.

This has to be the worst rental experiences of my life.. first the house we moved into was dirty with old gross carpet..we were advised by Nicole that the house would be cleaned and ready for move in..LIE..we had to order a professional carpet cleaner and we had to pay for it..they told us at move in we didn’t need a occupancy permit..when we tried to enroll our child in school guess what we needed..not to mention they didn’t even have the house’s inspection..and to put the icing on the cake my lease is up on May 8 they told me I would have to pay the full month of May and they would refund me..I asked to schedule a walk through upon move out so that we can approve an chargers they said they will just walk trough their self..Um no you think I would trust that you would refund our money. this has been the worst year renting with them!! will not recommend to my enemy...oh BTW my rent was 1300 a month!

We moved into our house 2 weeks ago and there was a water leak from dishwasher and was causing mold. I called to report the mold and I was informed that I would have to wait 2 weeks for them to send someone out to excess the damage!!! My wife is sick and couldn't  understand why she was feeling so sick until we saw all the mold!! Black mold. I wish i could post pictures. Do not rent from Them

Terrible place to rent from, the home my family rents from main street renewal has many safety issues that they neglect to repair. We put in requests and they are closed  a week later with no one comming to look at the issue. The online payment portal is always crashing, and the phone system hires people who care as much about customer care as they care about taki ng care of there propertys. Over priced, and with no sense of customer service.
