Attorney Sarah A. McDaniel represents owners of land throughout the State of Maine, helping them to resolve easement and boundary disputes, complete land transactions, and obtain or challenge land use permits.
Sarah represents clients in land use permitting proceedings (subdivision approval, site plan review, variance requests, rezoning applications, etc.) before municipal boards, state agencies and in subsequent judicial appeals to both the Superior Court and the Maine Supreme Judicial Court (the “Law Court”). In her cases, Sarah represents developers seeking permit approvals as well as individuals and neighborhood groups seeking to secure modifications to or denials of permit applications. Sarah also represents landowners in civil disputes involving property boundaries, right-of-ways, title insurance, recreational and conservation easement issues, and real estate closings. In addition to land law, Sarah also has represented individual, municipal and institutional clients in business litigation in state and Federal court.
Starting October 1, 2013, Sarah has co-founded the firm Douglas McDaniel Campo & Schools LLC. Sarah will continue to provide the same land-related legal services, and is now joined in practice with three other excellent attorneys who practice in the areas of commercial litigation, family law, personal injury, immigration, bankruptcy, and other civil disputes. The firm assists individuals, small businesses and corporate clients throughout the State of Maine.
