Story

Maine Roofing, Inc was started in 1974 by William Sr. and his brother John Darling with a simple philosophy: “Provide the best quality commercial roofing and sheet metal services possible at competitive prices and stand behind it.”

Today, William’s son Bill, his wife Liz and their son Billy carry on this Maine family-owned and operated business. Their continued commitment to this philosophy has built the companies reputation as a leader in Maine’s roofing industry, providing top quality commercial roofing and high-end sheet metal services to some of the area’s leading contractors, building developers and property owners.

It takes more than a good product to provide a high-performance roofing system, and a guarantee is only as good as the company giving it. Our company, nominated in 2004 for the Gannett Family Business of the Year Award has more than forty two years in business.
