Very nice local restaurant, family owned. Open for breakfast early at 6:30 am, which was great for our schedule. Food is fresh, made to order. My egg sandwich with pulled pork and Swiss cheese on whole wheat toast was very good. You can help yourself with coffee refills not to bother busy waitress. My husband had an omelette prepared just the way he asked. Paid $24 ticket with tip. Left full and satisfied. Thank you ✌

We loved Mainely Meat! We had dinner there every night, while on the island for vacation. The wait staff was friendly, and helpful. The food was so good, we had the huge meat sample platter, and there was more food on it that us four could eat. Of, and the blueberry pancakes are pure heaven!!

Some of the best ribs that I've had in while!! I ordered their half rack for dinner and they were perfect! I thought their prices were good for the food we got! And if you're a root beer lover like me order their bottled root bear it was delicious with my meal. Loved the small town feel! Hope to come back for breakfast yet.

The best BBQ in Maine!  Wonderful staff, good prices. Easy to get to despite Route 3 work. Just 6 minutes on return from Bar Harbor.   The pork just melts in your mouth.  Great for families and large groups. Breakfast is also fantastic.

Fun, friendly, comfortable place.  Had the bbq chicken with baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad.   All excellent.  Hubby had the hot italian sausage with fries.   He said it was really good but the sausage was pretty hot and he had to take two pieces home.
