Love the vintage style of it! Strongly resembles condos. Definitely doesn't give you a "same ole hotel" feel. Beautiful rooms! Quiet, peaceful. Pet friendly! Kid friendly also! Nice pool. Fitness room. (Next door to a great seafood restaurant)

This hotel is what one would expect from a three star rating. It's an older building, renovation contracts obviously went to the lowest bidder but it's a reasonable to sleep and offers a very decent free breakfast. 
It's within walking distance of good food and good music.

We got here yesterday.  Beautiful hotel and grounds.  GREAT breakfast.  Comfortable beds but what is it with the bath cloths?  We had to ask for bath cloths last night and again today.  As of yet we do not have bath cloths and the floors were not vacuumed today.  The beds were made and thank you for that but just don't understand about the bath cloths.

Love love love this place! The only reason for only 4 stars is that it's some older structure and little things could be fixed, the people and the atmosphere more than make up.  I love the brick roads through the murals, the neighborhood, and the courtyards,  and we can't forget the hot tub and pool that made my day. Can you tell I love the place?!

Great hospitality, great location right at a street car stop on the St. Charles! This will be my spot to stay for future visits to NOLA.  I'm only giving it four stars because they advertised a gym, but it was under construction.  Although I was allowed to use it, it would have been nice to know prior to visiting.  I'm sure it will be updated by my next trip...and I'll be able to change my review to 5.
