Had a great experience.  I asked a lot of questions and they had a question for every answer I asked and more.  The knowledge of their craft was pretty obvious.  As with any review consider why someone would leave a negative or positive review.  I had all my ducks in a row and therefor I had a great experience.

If I could make that one star a Minus Ten, I would.  
People have to *really* get raked over the coals before they care enough to put up an Internet review, so use the favor these people did for those who came after them:

               BEFORE DOING SOMETHING YOU *WILL* REGRET!

If you go to the Maixners for   *ANYTHING*   -  you'll get   *EXACTLY*   what you DESERVE.   Don't make the same mistake all of us made!

After entrusting Al and Diane to untangle and correct issues with 4 years of tax returns, I was devastated to find that both last tax year and this tax year they were complicit in assisting my husband in defrauding me with regard to my tax returns for the past two years. 
 It will require untold expense and time in addition to extreme discomfort and anxiety in order to undo the damage to my person, my finances and my professional reputation. My husband is a liar, a thief and a gambler and from what I've been able to determine thus far, their actions will cost me and our children our HOME as well as other assets.  Words cannot express my devastation. 
 If you are willing to and are able to afford to take this kind of risk, I suggest you entrust your personal and/or business finances to this 3rd generation firm of CPA's.

I should have paid attention to the previous review. That's what I will say first and foremost. If you're a small client in their mind, forget about getting any kind of service because they have "other clients that we're currently taking care of." They say they'll get back to you when you have questions, but they never ever follow up and you begin to feel like your dealing with children as you keep having to ask the same question over and over. When I finally went to get all of my paperwork from them, I waited over 30 minutes as they tried to find everything that I originally gave them and I unfortunately did not receive all of the items that I had submitted to them. STAY AWAY ... unless you just want service that's just unacceptable.

These are the worst tax people I have ever had the displeasure of working with.  I turned in my taxes to them and two weeks later they still have not done them.  I called them and they told me it would be easier for me just to take them somewhere else to get them done.
