The service awesome and quick the food was absolutely delicious. I had the beef wellington and my friend had rib eye with mashed potatoes. Appetizer was pork belly with scallops it was so good and Brussels sprouts with bacon and asparagus also delicious. Dessert was a cheesecake and I has the pineapple a la mode

Fantastic restaurant and experience! The cherry Old Fashioned was so good, the filet was very tasty, and that street corn!  We had the pleasure of experiencing the dueling pianos after dinner which was so much fun, it turned a dinner date into an entire night out. Great place for a nice date night or to celebrate a special occasion!

First time to this place.  What an awesome bar and happy hour.  Francesca the bartender was awesome made some great drinks for us.  For dinner had the tri tip special.  The sides could have been a little warmer, had to send them back to the kitchen to warm up.  Overall good experience and nice staff

The most delightful and delicious restaurant in Vacaville. Amazing dishes.  The special Surf & Turf was a masterpiece pairing of an 8oz lobster and a 10oz NY.  Succulent and exquisite! The steak melts in your mouth. The lobster is just heaven. Very well priced for such high quality. Romantic and comfortable atmosphere with live dinner music.  Great service and even better food.  Make reservations this place is great. We also enjoyed the speakeasy bar downstairs, talented musicians! Dueling pianos playing classic and modern songs, so much fun. Best drinks ever too. Try the Strawberry Smash. Just wow.

Food was outstanding! The Beef Wellington was fantastic and the Filet Mignonette melted I. Our mouths… you have to try the Brussels sprouts- the best we have had in a long time. The staff was attentive and extremely pleasant to  deal with. Our drinks were equally as good as the food; I couldn’t complain if I wanted to! All around 5 stars

Over the years there have been a few different restaurants at this location.  They all seem to share the same poor management characteristics.  There were people at only one other table when we came to see the new restaurant. We were shown a table. It then took several minutes to get menus.  10 minutes later waitperson came to take order.  We ordered, but were informed one dish we ordered and one other menu item my 2nd choice were sold out.  We should have been told this when menus were given us.  Im trying to be positive so I will say the food was good, but it took over 20 minutes AFTER we finished our food to get the check...I actually had to go search for the waitperson.  I would not come again but if you like to waste a lot of time, this is the place.

Fantastic Staff- from the Extremely friendly greeter, to our incredible server and wait staff Makse was a great experience. Large portions, great presentation. Finally Vacaville has a Fine Dining Experience that MUST be visited

We visited Makse for their soft opening Aug. 27th 2021. The food was great. We ordered the Mediterranean salad and the garlic shrimp appetizer. They were still working out some kinks with the service, and construction wasn’t complete, as to be expected with a soft opening, but lots of potential here. I look forward to seeing the final outcome September/October.

Had dinner their tonight. Service was great and the whole staff was very friendly and attentive. The steak was great and I recommend them onion soup. The smoked cherry old fashion was fantastic.Dine in: Yes

We had a great meal this evening at Makse. We ordered the scallop appetizer, beef wellington and lamb pasta which we shared as our main course. It was nice to try items we don’t ordinarily find on menus elsewhere. It was delicious!! The bar tender delivered a fabulous hand shaken Manhattan cocktail before dinner - 10 out of 10. Christine was the hostess who greeted us and saw that our evening was perfect. She Checked in with us and was truly first class. As the evening went on, the owner Jason, made his way through to greet us and others dining making sure we were satisfied. Makse  lends itself to a young clientele vibe as well as mature guests who appreciate the old world detail given to every part of an evening. Baked Alaska for dessert my first time having it was a great ending to the meal. We will be returning customers. Can’t say enough regarding how nice it was to see another wonderful addition to Main Street dinning. The staff at Makse truly strive to be excellent at their craft and it shows. Highly recommend!
