Three hours. I have been waiting in the waiting room for three hours! I had an ultrasound three hours ago and the radiologist sent me to the emergency room. I needed immediate attention. Guess I will just bleed out in the emergency room bathroom! Oh....if your in uniform, no matter the level of emergency you get in first, meanwhile those that were sent here by a doctor will bleed out in your bathroom!

I would not trust my heath to this Clinic. I cannot post specifics because it involves medical care, but I will say the following about what I and others close to me experienced: (1) I witnessed MG providing horrible prenantal care that would be malpractice in the civilian world. (2) The doctors prescribe large amounts of controlled substances to active duty members to a level that is negligent. However, if a dependent wants something as simple as a sleep aid, they are directed to take a sleep class instead of being prescribed meds (the DOD's dirty secret regarding the mismanagement of mental health in active duty and subpar healthcare for dependents.) (3) It takes weeks to get in for a regular appt and the doctor has 20 min tops to spend with you. It's impossible to get competent medical attention in this environment. (4) They had (and may still have) a "required" group pregnancy orientation, causing dependents and active duty members to sit down in a large group and reveal their pregnancy early on, prior to when it would be appropriate to reveal the news. This is a violation of the Privacy Act and likely a HIPPA violation. Last I knew, MG was being investigated for these violations. (5) It regularly takes 1.5 hours or more to get labs or prescription meds. Sick dependents, the elderly, and people with sick kids wait for extreme lengths of time while active duty members are permitted to continuously get first place in line above everyone else. If you are a military dependent, get the USFHP through Johns Hopkins. The level of care is so much better. I would not trust my healthcare to MG under any circumstances. They only continue to operate due to the fact that military docs are immune to malpractice.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was awful. I recently moved to the area and this was are first experience with the Emergency Care Center at Joint Base Andrews. I drove a half hour to get because of my level of pain. The doctor treated me as if I was a complete waste of their time because there was nothing I they could do for me until I saw a specialist. I felt humiliated and belittled by the staff's attitude. By far one of the worst medical care experiences I have ever had.

See al these negative comments. I never had an issue. At most people might seem slightly dismissive but figure thats just cause your their 63rd patient today. Other than that very clean(its new) and helpful. Pharmacy does take a decent wait though

Staff at Malcolm Grow are really great. Most if not all are always willing to help. Waiting for medications may take some time, but that happens everywhere. Great job.
