Performs all Environmental Health duties for the people of Malheur County.
The Environmental Health Department issues onsite septic system permits, runs the Licensed Facility Program and Drinking Water Program, is in charge of the County Solid Waste Program, and other environmental health consultations. Malheur County also contracts with Baker County to perform licensed facility inspections and licensing.
