I've never been in but I believe this is the same restaurant that was called Malii but during covid closed. I noticed last night a new name at the same location with the same menu was open. So had to try and confirm. It's the same AMAZING food!. Their beef stew is to die for. I was craving this dish for so long since they closed and finally today my taste buds got an amazing treat. I've had their green curry, pad thai, fried rice. All very good! But like I said, the beef stew is my fav. I do wish it had less fat. I know some people like fat on their beef but I'm the kind that I want it no were near my mouth. But its also what makes this dish so flavorful. That would be my only complaint thats minor, that it be more lean meat and less fat. But, thank you for reopening and bringing back all these wonderful dishes back to our neighborhood. I will go back to ordering from you weekly.
Food was great! I used to go to the restaurant in the same location before they switched management. I was able to go to the restaurant with the new management and the food was DELICIOUS! Clean plates all around. Also, staff was very kind and attentive! Absolutely looking forward to going back!
Forgot my straw, but great stuff. Ordering online was a 15/10 - it was a breeze with the QR code from their menu. Lychee thai tea, Roti pancake with sauce, taro appetizer crunch, small box of salad with sauce, pineapple curry with vegetables, steamed jasmine rice. Free delivery. Lunch special - can’t beat for the quantity and price! Best thai food I’ve had in a long time. Everything was homemade, even the citrus duck sauce to soy-sauce base for the salad. Please do yourself a favor and order from here. I do wish they had non-spicy options, but the sauces were barely spicy. Even my lychee thai tea was perfect with the right amount of sugar not overly sweet like Pepsi.
So, now they're closed from 4 to 5 p.m. to take a break. I called, but no answer. I thought they were busy with customers. So I walk over, after I went to the supermarket. Good thing or else I would have had to wait longer. I open the door they're laid out on the seats, because "they're on break". I had to wait another 10 minutes outside for the break to end. I go inside to order and someone calls with a $109 order . I still had to wait...my first time having this experience here. So just a warning about their new, Break policy. No orders between 4 and 5 p.m.
Food was great and the employees are amazing. We got 3 diff kinds of noodles and they all tasted great along with the sides of dumplings.Food: 5/5
The flavors were there are it was really good I would order from them again definitely a hidden gemFood: 5/5
Spring rolls were very good for the lunch special but overall the food and service was subpar. The broccoli tasted like frozen the freezer. The pad see eew needed more say and oyster sauce. I had to ask for chili sauce to put on top to flavor and even then it wasn't good. That was probably the least tasty dish I had in a while.Food: 2/5
This place is usually great then I ordered from them today had some shrimp triangles, mango shrimp salad and shrimp rolls. All was good until I opened the shrimp triangles. They were soaked in grease to the point that they were soggy. The grease was visible on the paper inside the plastic container the food came in. I don’t know who decided that it was okay to serve that to someone though whoever they are you deadass wrong for that, that was disgusting and entirely unappealing. Im not going to say don’t eat from this place though beware when ordering fried items. It may be served DRENCHED in grease.
I had this twice in a row. Only gave 4 stars because the first time I asked for the rice to not be spicy and it was. Even so it was delicious. I had the lunch special which was the chicken and shrimp dumplings, nice mini salad and the basil fried rice with chicken. It was so good I went back the next day for more dumplings and basil rice. Will be returning to try the salmon, beef stew and curry
My favorite Thai restaurant in that neighborhood. The food is authentic and yummy, prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is beyond friendly and loving. I always come in with my well behaved fur babies in their carriage, and they make sure they bring me bowls and food to accommodate their palate. I absolutely recommend this restaurant
