The facility is beautiful and most of the campers are very friendly.  Unfortunately we ended up camping seasonally next to an older and somewhat cranky group on site 21.  We received an invoice to renew for 2018 and the next day we received another email telling us Sorry, it did not work out.  When I called the owner she was abrasive and unprofessional.  I asked her what we had done and she said "nothing" but our neighbors weren't happy with us so it wasn't a fit.  I asked if there was anything we could do to stay and she said we don't have another spot available so it just didn't work out.  We were given less than a week to move our camper and then received an invoice stating to pay the balance by October 1st or a garnishment would be made.  Not a good way to do business or treat good customers.  Owners are hard to deal with and do not care about anything but making money and they know that someone is always waiting to take a spot... Very poor business practice.

This will be our family's 25th year vacationing at this resort. We love it here, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The lake is clean and beautiful, the beach is large and sandy with a clean gently sloped swimming area, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. We have always stayed in the cabins, but the campground appears well cared for too. From the beach amenities and playground area to the clean and regularly upgraded cabins, to the welcoming family-friendly lodge, you can tell the owners (Barb and Gordon) have put their hearts and souls into this little piece of heaven. Truly a five-star vacation destination!
