So I went to pick up an Uber eats order at Mamma Mia’s in prospect park. I have never gotten much food at this place but when I walked in I found out that the place was just sold and they have new ownership. So I talked to the new owner for a few minutes. Seems like a really good guy, hard working, and very much about his family. So on my way home my fiancé called me and we decided to try the new owners at mamma Mia’s. I’m so glad we did because this salad is amazing. Now I did eat a good bit of it so this isn’t even the full amount of food . He made the croutons for me as he made the salad. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. My fiancé got the cheesesteak platter and said it was amazing as well. No pics on that one because I looked over and it was gone . Do not tell her I said that too please . Definitely try the new Mamma Mia’s. The new owner also said the under new management banner should be here this upcoming week.
Ordered through DoorDash. The meatlover's pizza could use a lot more meat... It was basically a pepperoni pizza with a little bit of sausage and ham. We also ordered sauce with chicken nuggets and didn't get any sauce, and the spicy wings were just chicken nuggets with hot sauce... Disappointing...
My buffalo Wings weren't done. My pizza wasn't done. I called and said something about my food and initially a new order was to be made and sent out in place of the delivered order. The manager decided not to remake my order. The delivery driver is sent out to refund my money, and charges me $3.00 for a 2 Liter coke. Making the claim "we don't carry change" then that drink should've only been $2 instead of $2.50 knowing I wasn't getting my change. It's disgusting how these Delco restaurants are. They would NEVER make it in Philadelphia. This review has been made on 4/15/2017. This place is the epitome of trash.
Second time ordering here and another 2 thumbs up. The women answering phones/working counter was friendly, polite and efficient- a rare find at pizza shops these days. Generous amount of cheese on the mega fries, the pepperoni calzone was huge and nicy and greasy-just the way I like it. Wings were cooked perfectly with plenty of blue cheese on the side and the caser salad was awesome- the homemade croutons are amazing and it comes with a huge side of garlic bread. All the food was hot and ready on time. Overall great experience, my new go-to spot.
order through door dash and one of my items was missing. when i called i was greeted by a very nice lady, and she personally delivered my missing item to me! very good customer service and food is good! everyone makes mistakes its how you fix them that matters! would recommend
If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered pizza and a large cheese fry for delivery. Waited over an hour before calling to ask about where our food was. Was told it was on its way. 15 minutes later we get it food we are located about 5 minutes away and low and behold, all of our food is freezing cold, and soggy. Not to mention that our LARGE cheese fry order didn't even cover the bottom of the container. Called back to express our disappointment. The "manager" tells us that he won't send us a new order of food and that's "he's not worried about it" when we told he we won't be ordering again from them. He told us that the delivery driver would return our money. Let's see if I wait another hour for that. I have never actually been told by any establishment that when food is bad, cold, and inedible they won't give you new food. Even McDonalds gives you new food when it's bad. Safe to say, we will never order food from this place again!
Said it would be 45 minutes. Thought they were under promising and going to over deliver but it was an hour and 10 minutes. Obviously no longer hot. The fries were limp and undercooked. Everything packed together so salad wilted. Must have microwaved the garlic bread as it was tough and rubbery. Maybe their pizzas and Hoagies are good but I am not going to give them a second chance
I ordered 2 extra large pizzas..the food was amazing as the same with service from register to delivery. I have been a fan for years as well as my family and friends. Its seems to me that all the negatives come from people whom dont tip or dont give much of a tip..A tip to all the negatives, tip your driver and food would be quicker..Get your food at Domino's!!
The food is actually all hand made and prepared from scratch! I was pleasantly surprised to find real home made meatballs, sauce and real chicken beast. one of the few real good places left, but 4 stars because the menu is a bit big other than that all very good very fresh food is what you get!
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. The WORST customer service ever. Had a children's party at the Renaissance Hotel and their brochure was at the hotel. We decided to patronize them. The pizza looked dark and old when it arrived. A call was made to complain and they said they'd send another. A friend who was there 2 minutes later called and ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza despite the look of the first one but since they offered to send another the friend patronized them anyway. They wanted the pizza back which is alone classless but no problem. The children were now finally getting out of the pool and coming upstairs and starving. We waited and waited. After waiting almost 50 minutes we caved and gave a couple slices of the sad pizza to the kids. After a solid hour the delivery man showed up. The friend went to get her pepperoni pizza and he asked for the original pizza. The original customer explained and said she'd get what's left and went back to the room. I am the pepperoni pizza customer. The older delivery man proceeds to want to argue and create ruckus in the hotel atrium. I told him to stop arguing with me and to let me pay for the pizza I ordered. He was yelling, calling me disrespectful and made no mention of the over an hour wait. I told him if I have a concern I'd discuss with the owner, not the delivery man. He got loud until a hotel representative came over to him. The original customer returned and the owner on the phone with the delivery man instructed him to come back with the second pizza after the customer returned with the half remaining. They took no fault in taking so long stating it takes 40 minutes even though this was over an hour. We had asked for cups and plates when they returned for the soda and wings from the first order and anticipated second order. They sent no cups, 5 napkins and 3 plates for 2 extra large pizzas and 25 wings. They sent the kind of plates that take 3 to make one. They were miserly with everything. The pizza itself was basic, nothing special at all and the pepperoni hoping for better quality was again the most basic a pizza can be. When I called to tell Mama Mia about what transpired with the delivery man they blamed their distance from the hotel for the issue, so why have your brochures there? They stated their 40 minute thing not acknowledging the over an hour wait and couldn't care less about hungry children. The owner was rude and hung up on me and the hotel told the delivery to NEVER come back. Terrible service and inferior food. They made no attempt to make their patrons happy. They just want your money and don't care what they give you for it. AVOID this place if you want good food and care about how you are treated as a consumer.
