This is a good Italian Restaurant, located in downtown Portland, Oregon. The food was good, but the ARRABBIATA pasta was extremely spicy; the SEAFOOD PASTA had very good flavor. The prices were very affordable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good.Food: 4/5

03/06/2022 The restaurant has a charming Italian atmosphere.   We enjoyed Fried Zucchini, Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccini Bolognese, and for dessert, we indulged in Tiramisu and the Seasonal Panna Cotta while sipping coffee.  All dishes were delightful, but the tiramisu, in particular, had a creaminess that melted in your mouth, offering a unique and unparalleled flavor.  12/10/2023 Encouraged by our previous dining experience, we returned to explore other dishes.   We ordered Eggplant Parmesan and Spaghetti Carbonara this time.   While the eggplant parm on its own seemed slightly salty, the pesto pasta was exceptionally delicious and gentle, balancing out the flavors when enjoyed together.   The tiramisu was so exceptional that, once again, I opted for tiramisu for dessert, while my husband chose the pineapple sorbet.

Buon appetito! This place did not disappoint us tonight. Great menu, food was outstanding, excellent service. Love the decor, fun vibes!Food: 5/5

The best Italian restaurant around. Inside is very nice. Cozy and romantic. I highly recommend the Cioppino. It's freaking fabulous. You will not be disappointed. Two Thumbs Up  Food: 5/5

Service is consistently excellent and personable Bubba was our server and she remembered us. Food & wine are great!  They gave us a HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY voucher in Dec 2023 in a red envelope that read "do not open until your visit in January 2024." We came back, and the envelope revealed $10 OFF our meal! Awesome!  Thank you management for that gift

This place is another place you should try if you are in downtown. Our server was just excellent and cleans each time new dish was served. Food was excellent,  too. Highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5

I went here with friends for my birthday. I ordered pesto gnocchi, eggplant Parmesan and pizza and it was all average. The service and atmosphere weren’t that great either. I have experienced more joyful birthday dinners at other Italian restaurants where the staff is enthusiastic and friendly.Food: 3/5

First time at Mama Mia’s! Hands down the best Italian food if not, best restaurant in Portland!! Service was excellent and super friendly, 100% will be coming back probably tomorrow!Food: 5/5

The food was delicious and we had a very nice dining experience. Their cocktails are very good, and they had some great options. The service was helpful and friendly. We had reservations for 5 pm, and the place started filling up to a full house at around 5:30.  Parking was easy and close to the restaurant. Definitely want to come back and try other menu items.  Vegetarian options: They also have vegan options.

Food was very good. Lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and manicotti were ordered by my family. Good drink menu and beer selection.  The place was nice inside. A bit loud but that could have just been the large party sitting close to us.  Only complaint was the prices for some of the items. Entree pricing was reasonable but $7.50 for a small loaf of garlic bread and $7.50 for 4 small shrimp added to the fettuccine wasn’t a good value.
