Celebrated my birthday here it was amazing. I enjoyed everything about it, the gentleman who I spoke too in regards my reservation & etc, took very good care of me & my party of 12. Everyone was completely stuffed from the amazing dishes we all ordered. Our waiter Michael, he was a love, very patient with us & accurate in our orders. I would DEFIANTLY come back to this place. Like any busy fast paced restaurant it will be busy & times you might have to wait for a while. Thank you Mama Juana in making my 31st birthday special. 😊

First off let’s start off how I do not take any time of my day to write any bad reviews. But with the experience I had in this place it is a must to do so!!! I did a holiday dinner for my team it was about 8 of us. Took them about 30 minutes to sit us down WHEN WE RESERVED FOR A REASON! We had to wait forever for our food and our desserts with the understanding that it was busy but took way to long to arrive. Our bill comes and I was paying the entire bill for the amount of $318.00 with a debit card that had no chip, the waiter comes back and tell me I cannot use that debit card because it has no chip which is RIDICULOUS!! I’ve never heard of a card machine that doesn’t take a debit card that does not have chip. I asked to speak to the manager... worse mistake! MANAGER NAMED ANDRES comes to the table and says “there is nothing I can do, as the law we do not take any debit cards that doesn’t have chip” which it’s definitely a lie! I asked him in this case what do you guys do if I don’t have any other paying method? He tells me “I don’t know there is nothing I can do” and basically walks away. He gave me no option to use the debit card not even inputting it manually. This manager was not trying to help us at all which is really bad customer service and he definitely should be terminated or written up for giving such bad customer service! And for this experience I would not be going back to this place and I’ll make sure I spread the word to everyone I know :).

The service from reading other reviews we were expecting the worse. But it wasn't so bad. They sat us 20 minutes after our reservation. Then the owner says, in Spanish hurry my 5 O'clock crowd is coming. I turned and said well you owe us 20 minutes because you sat us late. Talk about rude. They ran out of food towards the end, but my biggest issue was the poor maintenance of the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like a Johnny on the Spot, that tells me no one cleans. It was disgusting! Tissue everywhere, the sink filthy dirty along with the stalls. For that reason alone, I would not refer this establishment to anyone. A clean bathroom says alot about your business!

This place gets 1 star for the food, that’s it! Went there and the security are very rude! First they told us that they had ran out of black label. Then I see bottle service give a bottle of black to another table. When I asked she said “We only have the big one”. I explained price wasn’t a problem. Then they sold a friend a bottle of black label 10 minutes before closing time and told her she had to hurry and drink it! They should of never sold her the bottle if that was the case. Customer service is horrible, might as well go to another location!

Good food. That’s it. Been to different locations and this one is the worse. If you are looking for a Dominican lounge, this is NOT it. They ran out of black label, the DJ played “Obsession” and rarely played current bachata. Oh and the bouncers are the absolute rudest. They act like they aren’t happy with their Career choice. Security has 0 tolerance for anyone. Never going to this location. And if you’ve been here you are NOT getting the full “MamaJuana Cafe Experience”.
