Located in the heart of Sewickley, Mambo Italia is Sewickley's first authentic Neapolitan pizzeria and Italian restaurant. With it's casual vibe, Mambo Italia is decked out in warm refurbished woods, exposed brick and a copper bar for extra dining room. With flavors of an old tradition, from the hands of a true Neapolitan Pizza Chef, come experience our handcrafted pizzas and authentic Italian cuisine. Our guests are welcome to bring bottled beer and wine to enjoy along side their meal. Keeping our menu authentic and simple, lets the smell of original and genuine ingredients invade the casual family friendly atmosphere.

The rudest restaurant I have ever been to, Ann the owner has no business serving the public! We waited at our table for over an hour for our food in 90% humidity because she refused to use the A/C. Literally, every table was complaining about the heat! You can't operate a 500 degree plus pizza oven in the summer and not run air conditioning for your guests. And I use the term guests loosely, Ann treats her customers like a piece of gum on the bottom of her shoe. Upon complaining about the wait time on our food, she argued with us and continued to berate us over the food time. No apologies, no service, asked us is we would like to take our food elsewhere to eat. And then proceeded to ask if we thought we were at Burger King! We have a text with a time stamp of when we sat down, 75 minutes for food is outrageous! Food arrived and was mediocre at best! Find another career Ann!

Second visit to Mambo Italia and the food and service were excellent. There gluten-free pizzas are delicious! I'd recommend using the No Wait app to "get in line" as they don't take reservations in advance and there is almost always a bit of a wait.

Came here expecting a full Italian menu - very limited options outside of pizza. The food was good, not great, and the service was extremely slow. Took close to 2 hours in-to-out and we are not the lingering type. Warm atmosphere and would be a good option for a large group to get pizza's, but not great for an intimate meal like we were expecting.

Servers were very open to discussing the menu and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They open up the front of the restaurant for an open air feel when the weather permits.

Food took a bit but was excellent! Wait staff and those behind the counter working the wood burning pizza oven were all extremely friendly and helpful!
